General
Tifogame is a product of Tifogroup BV.
Tifogame.be is an online platform where users can enter predictions on various football matches and tournaments for free. The main events are the European Championship and the World Cup. Many companies organize a private and personalized prediction contest for their staff.
A participant never pays a (monetary) bet.
Tifogroup also organizes public predictions, often in collaboration with partners, with various prizes that anyone can participate in for free.
• Any adult natural person can participate in the predictions offered on tifogame.be.
• A participant may only have one account. Tifogroup BV can delete the accounts of a participant if there are reasonable suspicions that they are using multiple accounts. Tifogroup BV reserves the right to not award prizes if there are reasonable suspicions of cheating.
• A participant can only participate once in the same prediction.
• Internal contests organized by companies for staff are only intended for employees who are temporarily or permanently employed by the company or people connected to the company via a collaboration. These individuals have been invited to participate. Family members, friends, or acquaintances of these individuals may not participate unless the company explicitly allows it. Only someone eligible can claim the offered prize package.
2.1 Prediction contest types
Tifogame offers two types of predictions
• Prediction of the match result: home team win, draw, away team win.
• Prediction of the exact score of the match.
2.2 PLAYING PERIOD
The prediction period can range from one or more matches of the tournament to the entire tournament. The Participant who collects the most points at the end of the play period wins the prediction. A prediction clearly specifies the period it covers: the start and end dates are always mentioned.
The football World Cup consists of 6 phases:
• the group stage
• the round of 16
• the quarterfinals
• the semifinals
• the match for 3rd place
• the final
2.3 GAME FORMULAS AND POINT CALCULATION
World Cup predictions on Tifogame are offered in 3 game formulas:
• predictions covering the entire tournament (all matches). This is the STANDARD FORMULA
• Exceptions:
The following diagram shows the most common point distribution for World Cup predictions.
2.3.1 STANDARD FORMULA
In a prediction covering the entire tournament, the Participant must either predict only the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win) for the group stage matches or predict the exact score each time. In the subsequent stages, the Participant must always predict the exact score for all matches.
If the participant indicates that the match will end in a draw in the knockout phase, the user must also indicate which team will win in the penalty shoot-out. This earns extra points.
Points are distributed per match as follows:
Group stage (with result prediction (home team win, draw, away team win))
• 20 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
There are 1,440 points to be earned in this phase, spread across 72 matches.
Round of 32
• 40 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 30 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 20 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
• 0 points if the Participant neither predicted the correct score nor the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win).
There are 640 points to be earned in this phase, spread across 16 matches.
The score after extra time is always the one the participant must provide. If a draw is predicted, the user is asked to indicate which team will win the penalty shoot-out and advance to the next round.
In the Round of 32, 10 extra points can be earned for each correct penalty shoot-out prediction.
Round of 16
• 60 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 45 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 30 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
• 0 points if the Participant neither predicted the correct score nor the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win).
There are 480 points to be earned in this phase, spread across 8 matches.
The score after extra time is always the one the participant must provide. If a draw is predicted, the user is asked to indicate who will win the penalty shoot-out and advance to the next round.

Quarterfinals
• 80 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 60 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 40 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).

2.3.2 EXEPTION A
Full tournament, correct score for all matches
Group stage (with correct score prediction)
• 30 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 15 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 5 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
• 0 points if the Participant neither predicted the correct score nor the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win).
There are 2,160 points to be earned in this phase, spread over 72 matches.
All other phases are identical to the standard formula.
2.3.2 EXCEPTION B
Predictions covering the entire tournament (matches of Belgium, the Netherlands, or Germany in the group stage + all matches in the other phases)
For a prediction concerning the full tournament, the Participant must first predict the exact score for Belgium or the Netherlands' matches in the group stage. In the subsequent phases, the Participant must always predict the exact score for all matches. Points are distributed per match as follows:
Group stage
• 40 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 30 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 20 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
• 0 points if the Participant neither predicted the correct score nor the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win).
All other phases follow the same rules as the standard formula.
D. If it is a prediction contest that runs over the entire tournament and the users must predict only the matches of the Belgians or the Dutch in the group stage.
In the later stages of the tournament, the matches of all are predicted. Then the points distribution will be as follows:
Group stage
The exact score is asked. 40 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 30 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result and 10 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 3 matches so there are 120 points to be earned.
The eighth finals
The exact score is asked. 40 points are awarded to the user who predicts the match completely correctly. 30 points if he/she gets the goal count for one of the 2 teams correct as well as the direction of the match result and 20 points if he/she only gets the direction correct. A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There are 8 matches so there are 320 points to be earned.

75 points if he/she is correct in the goal count for one of the 2 teams and correct in the direction of the match and 50 points if he/she is only correct in the direction.
A player scores 0 points if he/she has both the correct score and the direction wrong.
There is 1 match so there are 100 points to be earned.
When taking part in a prediction contest hosted by a trader, a hotel or restaurant, an association, … which falls under a platform of a city or a municipality, in some cases, a general classification is offered, with its own prize pool. If you participate in a trader’s prediction contest, you are automatically included in the general ranking of that particular city or municipality. Attention: if you participate in the prediction contest of several traders, only one participation will be included in the general ranking of the city or municipality: the best participation which results in the most points.
2.3.4 Predictions regarding one or more specific matches
For a prediction concerning one or more specific matches (e.g., 1 match from a specific phase, multiple matches from the group stage on a specific date, all matches from one particular phase, etc.), points are distributed per match as follows:
• 30 points if the Participant correctly predicted the exact score.
• 15 points if the Participant correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win) and the number of goals for one of the two teams.
• 5 points if the Participant only correctly predicted the result (home team win, draw, away team win).
• 0 points if the Participant neither predicted the correct score nor the correct result (home team win, draw, away team win).
Each prediction is associated with a ranking. After each matchday, the ranking is updated. The Participant who is in first place after the last match of the final matchday of a prediction is the winner of that prediction. This Participant wins the prize as listed under the 'Prizes to Win' section. The same reasoning applies to second place, third place, etc.
Some cities or municipalities also organize a general ranking with a specific prize pool. A Participant who participates in a prediction organized by a merchant, horeca establishment, association, etc., offered through the platform of a city or municipality, can thus win multiple times: once or more via predictions from merchants, horeca establishments, associations, etc., and once again via the general ranking of the city or municipality. If the Participant takes part in the predictions of multiple local merchants, horeca establishments, associations, etc., only the best result of their participations counts toward the general ranking of the city or municipality.
The organizer of a prediction provides a prize for the winner(s) of the prediction. In each prediction, the prizes are listed under the 'Prizes to Win' section. Tifogroup BV assumes no responsibility for providing or awarding the prize unless the prediction is organized by Tifogroup BV itself. The organizer of the prediction is identified by the name and logo of the prediction.
If the winner is a minor, only their parents (or the person exercising parental authority) may receive the prize.
When a Participant has won a prize on Tifogame, they receive an automatic message confirming the prize. Within a week after this email, the Participant receives a second email with more information about the prize handling.
If the Participant does not respond to this second email, they will receive a reminder email with a deadline. If the Participant does not respond by the deadline, Tifogroup BV is free to no longer award the prize to the Participant.
Tifogroup BV reserves the right to close a prediction at any time without awarding a prize to the winner(s).
The organizer of a prediction is also free to withhold prizes from fraudulent winners.
2.6 KNOWLEDGE QUESTION + TIEBREAKER QUESTIONS
Every prediction offered on Tifogame.be is a contest.
Companies that organize an internal prediction for their employees are organizing a contest.
In public contests on Tifogame, a knowledge question is always asked, along with one or more tiebreaker questions. A participation is only valid if the Participant has answered the knowledge question correctly. If the knowledge question is answered incorrectly, the participation is invalid, and the Participant cannot score any points.
2.7 TIEBREAKERS
The points system is set up in such a way that it is usually unlikely for two well-performing players to score the same number of points. However, in the event that two or more players do have the same number of points, the ranking will be determined based on the time of registration. The player who registered first will be ranked higher. This ensures a fair and transparent way to break ties.
The exact procedure is as follows:
When predicting a single match (not an internal competition within a company), one or more tiebreaker questions are asked. In case of a tie, the answers to these questions will determine the winner. The person who gives the best answer will be ranked higher.
3. PLAYER PROFILE
On the dashboard, the Participant finds their profile. A participant can add a photo to their profile. If the Participant does not choose a photo, a default avatar will be shown. The photo chosen by the Participant must not be discriminatory, offensive, racist, or insulting in any way. Tifogroup BV reserves the right to change player profile photos. Additionally, Tifogroup BV reserves the right to remove users from the Tifogame.be prediction platform after repeated violations of this rule.
On the dashboard, Participants can view some personal statistics:
• WINS: A win is a correct prediction for one match.
• ACCURACY SCORE: The accuracy score reflects the percentage of correct match predictions made by the Participant. This accuracy score is the result of the number of correct predictions divided by the total number of predictions, multiplied by 100.
• MATCHES: The number of matches the Participant has predicted.
